Why Pakistan

Why France brands manufacture with Eco Vira

Eco Vira runs pattern making, fabric sourcing, cutting, printing, embroidery, sewing, inspection and packing under one roof in Lahore. One supplier stays accountable for the whole chain, so the garment that ships is the garment that was approved.

  • Pakistan offers sustainable fabric options (organic cotton, recycled materials) at scale.
  • Cost advantages versus European manufacturing improve margins for French brands.
  • English-speaking merchandising teams facilitate smooth communication.
  • Growing compliance with EU environmental and social standards.

MOQ

Minimum order quantity

30 pieces per style per colour, which suits French brands launching a focused collection. Payment is a deposit against the bulk run, with the balance settled against shipping documents.

Payment

How payment works

Orders run on a deposit against the bulk run, with the balance settled against original shipping documents. We will not change bank details by email alone โ€” any change is confirmed by phone before you act on it, because that is the standard invoice-fraud pattern and a two-minute check prevents it.

Sampling

How sampling runs before you commit

  1. 01Tech pack or reference garment to begin.
  2. 02Pre-production sample produced in your fabric.
  3. 03Fit and finishing approved before cutting.
  4. 04Sample retained as your reference for repeat runs.

Quality control

How quality is checked

  • In-line inspection during cutting, sewing and finishing.
  • An AQL check before packing to the agreed level.
  • Measurement check against the approved sample and size set.
  • Final inspection on packed units with photo record.
  • Fabric testing where your specification requires it.

Inspection points, AQL levels and what we document are agreed in your order rather than assumed. See our quality process.

Production process

From approved sample to carton

The same sequence on every order. What changes is the specification, and the timeline is quoted per style.

  1. 01Tech pack and fabric direction received; costing and feasibility reviewed.
  2. 02Pattern graded to your French/EU size set; pre-production sample made.
  3. 03Sample approved, fit and trims locked.
  4. 04Fabric sourced, or supplied cloth verified against the approved swatch.
  5. 05Cutting, sewing, decoration and in-line inspection.
  6. 06Final inspection, folding and packing to French labelling requirements.
  7. 07Documentation issued and goods dispatched.

Before you order

Questions France buyers ask us most

Answered directly. Where the answer is that something sits with you rather than with us, we say so.

What does the EU Responsible Person requirement mean for my imports?

Under the General Product Safety Regulation, goods from outside the EU need a named economic operator established in the EU. That is the importerโ€™s appointment to make. Eco Vira supplies the technical file โ€” composition, test reports, manufacturing identity โ€” that the responsible person must lodge.

Is French-language labelling required?

Yes. Textile fibre content and care instructions must be in the language of the Member State of sale. We apply the French wording you provide, character for character.

Does France require specific signage on packaging?

France applies the Triman sorting-information mark and Info-tri signage in addition to the EU-wide requirements. This forms part of the extended producer responsibility scheme and applies to whoever first places packaging on the French market. We pack and label to your specification and supply packaging composition data for your registration.

How are shipments handled into France?

Sea freight through the main French container ports is the standard economic route; air and courier are available where speed outweighs cost. Your forwarder clears the entry and we supply the commercial invoice, packing list and transport documents.

Can you produce in French-market sizes?

We grade to any size set you provide, French or EU, including extended and child sizes.

Communication

Working across the time difference

Pakistan is UTC+5 โ€” four hours ahead of France. Your morning is our early afternoon.

We keep a CET-morning slot for technical review so you can brief us at the start of your working day.

  • Email with a named contact
  • WhatsApp for quick questions
  • Video call for fit review

Your first step

How to start

  1. 01Send your tech pack, or describe the garment and quantities.
  2. 02We review feasibility and come back with costing, MOQ and a timeline.
  3. 03A pre-production sample is made in your fabric for approval.
  4. 04On approval, production starts and you are updated at each inspection stage.
