Explore โWhy Pakistan
Why Netherlands brands manufacture with Eco Vira
Eco Vira runs pattern making, fabric sourcing, cutting, printing, embroidery, sewing, inspection and packing under one roof in Lahore. One supplier stays accountable for the whole chain, so the garment that ships is the garment that was approved.
- Pakistan offers sustainable fabric options aligned with Dutch sustainability values.
- Cost advantages versus European manufacturing.
- English as the business language facilitates communication.
- Reliable shipping routes to Rotterdam.
MOQ
Minimum order quantity
30 pieces per style per colour. Dutch brands running a direct-to-consumer model can test a small drop here without carrying a season of unsold stock. Payment is a deposit against the bulk run, balance against shipping documents.
Payment
How payment works
Orders run on a deposit against the bulk run, with the balance settled against original shipping documents. We will not change bank details by email alone โ any change is confirmed by phone before you act on it, because that is the standard invoice-fraud pattern and a two-minute check prevents it.
Sampling
How sampling runs before you commit
- 01Tech pack or reference garment to start.
- 02Pre-production sample made in your fabric.
- 03Fit, trims and packaging approved in writing.
- 04Sample held as your reference for repeat runs.
Quality control
How quality is checked
- In-line inspection at cutting, sewing and finishing.
- An AQL sampling check before packing.
- Measurement check against the approved sample and size set.
- Final inspection on packed units with a photo record.
- Fabric testing where your specification requires it.
Inspection points, AQL levels and what we document are agreed in your order rather than assumed. See our quality process.
Production process
From approved sample to carton
The same sequence on every order. What changes is the specification, and the timeline is quoted per style.
- 01Tech pack and fabric direction received; feasibility and costing reviewed.
- 02Pattern graded to your EU size set; pre-production sample made.
- 03Sample approved and fit locked.
- 04Fabric sourced, or supplied cloth verified against the approved swatch.
- 05Cutting, sewing, decoration and in-line inspection.
- 06Final inspection, folding and packing to EU labelling requirements.
- 07Documentation issued for EU entry; goods dispatched.

Questions Netherlands buyers ask us most
Answered directly. Where the answer is that something sits with you rather than with us, we say so.
What happens with the EU Responsible Person requirement?
The General Product Safety Regulation requires an EU-established economic operator for goods from outside the EU. That appointment sits with the importer. Eco Vira provides the technical documentation โ composition, test reports, manufacturing identity โ the responsible person needs to complete the file.
Is Dutch textile labelling required?
Fibre content and care instructions must be in the language of the Member State of sale, so Dutch for the Netherlands. We apply your wording exactly as supplied.
How does packaging EPR work here?
The obligation falls on the first placer on the Dutch market. We supply accurate packaging composition data and pack to your schemeโs requirements so your registration is defensible.
Is low-volume direct-to-consumer production realistic?
Yes โ the 30-piece minimum exists precisely for that. Many Dutch brands start with one or two styles, validate demand, then scale. Split sizes do raise the practical minimum, which we confirm before you commit.
What are the shipping options for Dutch distribution?
Sea freight is the cost-efficient route for volume; air freight and courier suit replenishment and small runs. We supply the commercial invoice, packing list and transport documents your forwarder needs.
