Pattern making, proto, fit and sales samples with a documented make-sheet, so bulk apparel production is a controlled repeat rather than a re-invention.
Sampling is where cost, fit and risk are actually decided. Our development cell reads your tech pack — or writes one with you if you do not have one — drafts and grades the pattern, then produces proto, fit and salesmen samples on the same machines that will run the bulk order. Each iteration is documented in a make-sheet covering construction, stitch types, seam allowances, trims, measurements and tolerances, and that make-sheet is the instruction the sewing floor follows. You receive an accurate costed bill of materials based on the real construction rather than an estimate from a drawing, plus a sealed reference garment that becomes the standard every production lot is inspected against. Problems found at this stage cost a sample; the same problems found in bulk cost a shipment.

Sampling & Development — common questions
What is the minimum order for a sample?+
Samples are not subject to the 30-piece bulk minimum — a proto or fit sample is produced as a development run against your tech pack. The 30-piece entry minimum applies to your first bulk order, not to the sample that approves it.
How long does a sample take?+
A sample runs from tech-pack review through pattern, construction and your approval in writing. We confirm the schedule against your construction route and decoration method when we quote, rather than publishing a generic turnaround that does not apply to your garment.
Can you sample from a reference garment instead of a tech pack?+
Yes. Send a reference garment and we will digitise the pattern from it and flag anything that cannot be matched exactly before sampling.
Do you keep the approved sample for re-orders?+
Yes. The sealed pre-production sample, the graded pattern, the make-sheet, the trim card and the approved lab dips are archived under your style code. A re-order six or twelve months later is produced against the same file.
How many sample rounds are usually needed?+
That depends on how complete your specification is. We will tell you at tech-pack review which decisions are still open, so you are not paying for rounds to resolve gaps we could have flagged first.
